Community rules
Comments are where readers argue about the news. Disagree hard, criticize politicians, parties and ideas, and call out a story you think gets it wrong. Just don't:
- threaten or wish harm on anyone, or urge others to;
- use slurs, or attack people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or disability;
- harass other commenters or private individuals;
- post anyone's private details (address, phone, email, workplace);
- spam, advertise or drop links;
- post sexual content.
How moderation works
An AI model screens each comment before it shows. Anything it flags is held for a person to review, not deleted. Readers can report a comment; when three people do, it's hidden until reviewed. Accounts that keep breaking these rules lose the ability to comment.
Comments are readers' own words. They aren't written or edited by Lens or its AI, and they don't speak for the outlets whose reporting a story credits.
