Latino Voter Shift Signals Limits of Trump's Appeal
Recent data shows Latino voters moving back to Democrats after a decade of Trump inroads, raising questions about the sustainability of his outreach.
Politico reports that Latino voters have shifted back toward the Democratic Party after Trump's gains with the group over the last decade, and that those inroads have been completely reversed.
The headlines capture the shock: “‘This is an earthquake’: Latino voters rush back to Democrats” (Politico) and “Latino Men Swing-Back To Dems After Trump’s Historic Inroads With Group In 2024” (Daily Caller).
The Daily Caller notes that Trump lost his grip on Latino voters' support, even though it previously highlighted that Trump made historic inroads with Latino voters in 2024.
